Predator Pole

The Pine Hollow Predator Pole is an animal catch or dispatch pole designed with comfort of use, as well as ease of cable replacement in mind, at an affordable price. 

Pole is 41'' long with adjustable foam hand pad, a 3/32 7x7 cable  installed as well as a FREE replacement cable with ferrules. The cable  can be easily replaced with no special tools other than a hammer. 

The Predator Pole Catch/Release version is for those of you who do live market or non target animals. 

It’s stouter than the PVC poles out there and it locks in place so you do not have to hold onto the handle and will only release the cable when you do it. It’s a 3/16 rubber coated cable. 3 foot long with a 12 inch catch loop.  Designed as a catch and release pole but will dispatch bobcats. Designed strong enough to handle large animals with one hand.

This is a limited warranty item because the HANDLE WILL BREAK IF OVER CRANKED and is NOT WARRANTIED.

**** INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE ****

To properly use the Predator Pole as a dispatch pole, simply pull the rod as tight as possible around the animal's neck with the pole placed  in the center of the neck at the base of the skull. Give the handle NO MORE THAN 5 FULL CRANKS or WHEN YOU FEEL STRONG  RESISTANCE TO PUMP MORE. FURTHER PUMPS ON THE HANDLE WILL NOT ENSURE DISPATCH QUICKER AND WILL ONLY FURTHER CHANCES OF BREAKING THE HANDLE.  Once the rod has been pulled tight and four or five cranks on the handle the animal will be immobilized in a minute or two and dispatched in a matter of a few more minutes. You are  cutting off blood flow to the brain, not choking the animal or trying  to cut its head off by cranking more than necessary.
